Why we exist
The room someone sleeps in. Whether anyone expected them today. How far the nearest good food is. Whether the people around them are settled or bracing. These are not soft details around the edge of a life — they are most of what determines how well a person can think, rest, connect, and act.
We study those surroundings carefully, describe what we find in language people can actually use, and build tools and rooms that change them. We are a knowledge infrastructure company: the understanding is the product, and everything else follows from it.
We describe conditions. We do not issue verdicts about people.
How change happens
The model underneath everything we build. Each term has a precise meaning, and each follows from the last.
What surrounds a person — the environment they are responding to.
What actually becomes available to them within those conditions.
How well a person can do what matters to them.
What follows, over time, from functioning well or poorly.
A life with room in it — the point of the whole chain.
Foundational publication
Foundational Principles for a Discipline of Human Flourishing
MoreLife Society’s founding working paper introduces Condition Design — an interdisciplinary field dedicated to observing, measuring, and intentionally designing the conditions that shape human flourishing.
It establishes the vocabulary, first principles, and research agenda for the discipline the rest of our work is built on.

Institutional engagement
Schools, health systems, housing providers, employers, and civic institutions all shape access, whether or not they intend to. We work with a small number of partners on pilots, shared measurement, and research collaboration.
