AI transparency

We study how conditions shape people. AI systems are now part of most people’s conditions, usually without disclosure. It would be incoherent to research that and then be vague about our own use.

Software development. AI coding assistants are used in building and maintaining this website and our applications. All code is reviewed by a person before it ships.

Drafting and editing. AI tools are sometimes used to draft, restructure, or edit written material. Every published claim is written, checked, and stood behind by a person. Where a page is substantially AI-drafted, we will say so on that page.

We do not use AI to interpret people. No AI system scores, classifies, ranks, profiles, or draws conclusions about any individual using our tools. The Access Assessment and Daily Access Check-In reflect your own responses back to you; they do not run you through a model to decide what you are.

We do not generate research findings with AI. We do not fabricate quotes, examples, sources, or data. Our published frameworks are human-authored.

Documentary photography is real. Any image that depicts a specific person, place, event, or product as something that actually happened — our founder, our gatherings, our teas — is a genuine photograph. We do not fabricate a real moment with AI and present it as if it occurred.

Some conceptual imagery is AI-assisted. A few illustrative images exist to picture an idea rather than record an event — for example, the split scene on our home page contrasting a stressful environment with a calm one. These are made with AI tools. They depict no real, identifiable person and no real place, and they are never presented as documentation of something that happened. When in doubt, read any image on this site as illustrative unless it is clearly of us.

Where you see a plain marked block, that is a placeholder awaiting a real photograph — not an image we are hiding.

Our use of these tools will evolve, and this page is meant to be updated rather than written once. If you find a discrepancy between what this page says and what we do, write to peace@morelifesoc.com and we will correct one or the other.
